CATTERING TO INDIVIDUAL SOUL'S NEEDS
“The beauty of divine love, once fully admitted to the human heart, forever destroys the charm of sin and the power of evil.” [UB 188:5:3]
Thought Adjuster: “Jesus was a truth revelator. To make ado with his listeners' various spiritual and intellectual capacities, he resourcefully taught each one according to their needs by using multi-strata and thought-provoking parables. Their outer layer delivered easily accessible soul nutrients while the juicier stuff laid under their epidermis.
Those with a poor spiritual appetite are content to nibble the peel, while the spiritually-famished eagerly scout for the elixirs burrowed within these revelatory care packages.
If you were the recipient of an attractively-wrapped gift, would it stop you from opening it or would its artful presentation spike your curiosity? Divine love is disappointment-proof; it leaves no room for conflicting allegiances.
Once you get a taste of it, your mundane likes will pale, and you will quickly lose interest in the fleeting highs provided by mere sensory gratification.
“Spiritual worship cannot be shared with material devotions; no man can serve two masters.” [UB 163:3:1] What or whom you select as a master determines the value of your life. Material possessions cannot love you back since they are not sentient, thus leaving you emotionally wanting.
Love is the most prized of all possessions. It takes two or more to jumpstart its flow. It will positively alter your reality, infusing it with heart-warming hues.
Sin may seduce you—or rather entrap you, surreptitiously and maliciously robbing you of your spiritual assets. On the other hand, because of its transparency, divine love is a straight shooter. It exerts a natural power of attraction, as it is both your source and your destination.”
