ABOUT THE WALTZ OF LOVE
“The Father’s love can become real to mortal man only by passing through that man’s personality as he in turn bestows this love upon his fellows.” [UB 1289:03]
Thought Adjuster: “Love and friendship are the prevalent topics of songs. Their lyrics either celebrate the passion of love and the balm of authentic friendships or, should these heart connections have come to a premature ending, they express the state of the brokenness of shattered hearts.
“Consciously or unconsciously, humankind yearns to experience the fullness of love and its byproducts—empathy and compassion. When lovers are apart, they are ‘love-sick,’ yearning for the complementary presence of their soul mate.
“Is God love-sick for His children? Wouldn’t it make sense to think so? God created everything out of His irrepressible Love in need of expression. By outpouring it in His creation, He liberated its power, letting it flow freely through His multi-layered and magnificent creative web.
“Love cannot exist apart from the element of free-will. Its absence defiles it and shrinks it to a self-centered emotional manipulation that is foreign to the Infinite Source of Love in Action.
“To have worthy recipients of His Love, the Father fragmented Himself to indwell His human creatures. As well, as their Progenitor, He endowed them of unique personalities which, once perfected, will undeniably exhibit a striking family resemblance.
“Doesn’t it then make perfect sense that, the access door to His Infinite Love is the revolving door of your heart that allows you to welcome those who chance to gravitate into your life? Your free-will, your carefully handcrafted personality, and your innate propensity to love are what enable you to love your fellows as the Father loves you.
“You cannot, and should not, clip the wings of Love. It would cause it to wither away due to its inability to take flight toward other hearts—its reason for being.
“Giving and Receiving are the synchronized steps of the Waltz of Love that prevent it from running out of steam and expire prematurely, unable to fulfill its eternal destiny. Indeed, Love DOES NOT HAVE an expiration date and keeps seeding of itself in its cosmic travels.”
