ABOUT LOVE-LOVE RELATIONSHIPS
Thought Adjuster: “Let us further expand on the ‘hate-love’ relationship between fear and love. Indeed, expressed in such a manner, it becomes obvious that true love cannot be experienced in a ‘fear-filled’ heart.
“Fear is a squatter that takes over your heart—a heart that has been designed to host love. In order for love to claim its righteous abode, fear has to be evicted—once and for all.
“This is the reason why Jesus consistently addressed both the adverse effect of fear and the liberating power of love when applied to relationships. As well, such relationships are the makings of all life—your inner life and your worldly life.
“Which type of relationship do you entertain with yourself? Is it of the love-hate type, where you fluctuate between liking and disliking yourself—or even loving and hating yourself, depending on where you turn your attention to?
“It is indeed difficult for anyone to acknowledge their temporary character flaws without feeling discouraged and unlikeable. Yet, it is not how your Heavenly Father looks at you. His relationship with you has been, is, and forever will be a loving one—never tainted by any hint of hate nor distorted by the manipulation by fear.
“He loves you in your state of imperfection, knowing that, someday, your initial skin will be shed to be replaced with an attractive mantel of light, shimmering with many vibrant colors and enhancing your natural beauty.
“In your quest to know the Father, ban all fears, as they are depriving you of a total makeover in your relationship with the Divine. What do I mean by that? Once you stop fearing someone, your urge to keep your distance dissipates instantly. You then start looking with childlike amazement at the new ‘identity’ that emerges once all the darkness projected by fear has been lifted.
“A bulb stored in a cold and dark cellar cannot grow into a flower. Take your hearts out of their hibernating mode and relish in what will unfold—the many miracles of life that are manifested in a life lived with love and driven by passion. You will then be in a love-love relationship—with yourself and with others.”
