FAITH VERSUS FEARS
Thought Adjuster: “When facing the unknown, humankind has two divergent options: either to be powered by faith or disempowered by fear. From this perspective, it should be a no-brainer as to which one to espouse. Indeed, fear has nothing constructive to bring to the table, while faith should be part of your daily spiritual seasonings to bring forth the delicate fragrance of your fragile soul.
“Emotions are invisible but nevertheless real energetic entities. When entrenched in your mindset, they get manifested in your material reality and can be read on your face or identified through your body language.
“Whenever fear drives you to your knees, begging for mercy, you can invoke the feisty spirit of faith to take you by the elbows and lift you up. Yes, whenever you invite faith to move into your life, you are acquiring the most devoted cheerleader. Together with the Adjuvant Mind Spirit of Courage, it will reinfuse you with the positive energies that fear sucked out of you. No saying what your refueled self can then do.
“'Faith is to religion what sails are to a ship; it is an addition of power, not an added burden of life.' [UB 1766:04]The purpose of a sail is to harvest the available wind power to propel a skiff forward, thus sparing the crew from the physical exhaustion generated by tiresome rowing and enabling them to revel in the exploratory aquatic adventure. On windless days, the sails are depleted and useless, and the skiff would remain idle unless its operator decides to paddle.
“What is the state of your faith? Is it depleted, leaving you stuck in a difficult predicament? Or is it going strong, lending a deaf ear to the chronic no-sayers and fear-mongers? No wonder that Jesus entrusted the ‘faith-filled’ with the safekeeping of the keys to the Heavenly Kingdom.
“The level of your faith may fluctuate, but do keep its flame alive or turn to those who can rekindle it with the incandescent glow of their burning faith. When you look back on your life, your proudest moments will be those when you allowed yourself to be faith-propelled, thus saving you from drowning in the clever illusions of your seemingly implacable fears.”
