WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH JESUS' PEACE?

“In the face of trials and persecutions [Jesus] said,“My peace I leave with you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."This is the peacethat prevents ruinous conflicts. Personal peaceintegrates personality. Social peaceprevents fear, greed, and anger. Political peaceprevents race antagonisms, national suspicions, and war. Peacemaking is the cure of distrust and suspicion. [UB 140:5.18]

Thought Adjuster: “You are wondering where Jesus’ peace has gone—the one He left with humanity. Indeed, you would think that 2000 years later, you would witness a tremendous change in the emotional makeup of your world. Yet, it rather appears that negativity, pessimism, and all sorts of antagonisms have spread like a wildfire threatening to extinguish any brave attempt at Peace.

“Let us take a moment to ponder Jesus’ words. Indeed, He left His peace with YOU—individually. Pointing an accusatory finger at “THEM” has become a widespread strategy of avoidance and procrastination for those who refuse to acknowledge their contribution to the world’s turmoil. It results in stagnation or regression.

“Go within to objectively look at the part you ‘personally’ play in the overall agitation. Holdyour own inner ‘Peace Talks’—willing to sit at the negotiation table with Spirit and His Advisors.

“What have you done with Jesus’ Peace? Have you overlooked this powerful Godlike influence in your life? It is still there for you to enjoy, as indeed it is a gift of great value.

“Those who constantly wash their hands of the world’s problems are indeed acting ‘irresponsibly’ due to the fact that they refuse to take any responsibility. It is as simple as that.

“Dear ones, how do you feel on the inner? Are you restless or peaceful? This is the first question to ask yourself, as its answer will be the irrefutable telltale sign of whether or not you are connected with your Heavenly Father—the Epitome of Peace.

“Indeed, the most effective remedy to any state of agitation is to admit to it and take as many timeouts as needed. Peace is indeed to be found in the Stillness. It may take you a while to tame your ‘all-over-the-place” thinking that generates disturbing static in your mental process. Yet, knowing that it is the access door to Spirit, isn’t it worthwhile to persevere until you break through and get to experience the amazing Peace that passes all understanding?

“Whenever you are able to maintain a ‘peace-full’ state of mind, you are indeed in the “Father’s Zone”. It is your doing—not His—that sends you flying back to more agitated states, as you are in charge of what you let in your being.”
