IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT
“The supremely happyand efficiently unified mind is the one wholly dedicated to the doing of the will of the Father in heaven.” [UB, 133:7.12]
Thought Adjuster: “Happiness is within everyone’s reach. It may surprise you to hear such an affirmation. Let Me explain.
In your entourage, you interact with two types of individuals. The ‘happy-go-lucky’ ones whose general composure is on the sunny side of things and the chronic complainers whose take on life is gloomy and morose because they zoom in on its irritants.
Once they acknowledge that their defeatist and ever-critical stance is a major impediment to their happiness, they can judiciously decide to operate at the much higher vibrational level generated by frequent surges of gratitude.
“‘[A] good man shall be satisfied from within himself.’ ‘A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance and is a continual feast. [. . .] ‘A merry heart does good like a medicine.’ ‘Better is a handful with composure than a superabundance with sorrow and vexation of spirit.’” [UB, 149:5.2]
Due to his awe-inspiring spiritual life, Jesus revealed through his cheerful demeanor the prerequisite to authentic happiness—a spiritual experience whose apex is defined as bliss. “The highest happiness is indissolubly linked with spiritual progress. Spiritual growth yields lasting joy, peace which passes all understanding.” [UB, 100:4.3]
Reflect on happiness! Imagine it! Pursue it! It is as simple as that: Your positivity attracts it whereas your negativity repels it.”
