REDIRECT THE SPOTLIGHT AWAY FROM THE SELF

“But though theworkis important, theselfis not. When you feel important, you lose energy to the wear and tear of ego dignity so that there is little energy left to do the work.” [UB, 48:6.37]

Thought Adjuster: “Undoubtedly, the divine heart holds each life in high esteem for the many positive contributions it can make to the whole. The more you advance toward Godlikeness, the more humbled you will be by the VIP status conferred to you from on high.

The human Jesus was a shining presence in your world and beyond. His spiritual ministry had universal repercussions, and he always assigned it a top priority. How would you feel if the weight of the planetary spiritual welfare rested on your frail human shoulders? How would you prevent an unavoidable public exposure from making you self-absorbed? If Jesus had succumbed to the entrapments of self-aggrandizement, he would have quickly lost his credentials in Godlikeness—thus failing his fiduciary mission—a tragicencoreof the Luciferian debacle.

In your current state of spiritual immaturity, each of you exhibits to some degree unbecoming narcissistic tendencies: oversized egos in need of constant approval; condescendence; superiority complexes; entrenched opinions; clever camouflage of insecurities and vulnerabilities; lack of empathy; silver tongues delivering gold-plated platitudes; self-prioritization; disregard of God-given human rights; poor listening skills; dictatorial stances; character assassinations; emotional manipulations; taking others for granted; being a taker, not a giver.

Jesus embodied all the contrasting traits of a mature personality. He was an attentive listener, ever-concerned about others’ wellbeing, frequently inquiring about their frames of mind and heart to encourage them. Never did he speak out of turn out of respect for his interlocutors. His tender heart became a chalice for the divine presence. He was generous both in prayers, words, and actions.
