A THANK-YOU WORKS WONDERS.

“… spirit-born individuals are so remotivated in life that they can calmly stand by while their fondest ambitions perish and their keenest hopes crash….” [UB 1096:05]

Thought Adjuster: The above quote resonated with you, as you have personally experienced what it is depicting. Indeed, whoever is ‘reborn’ is at the onset of a brand-new experience that makes the previous one pale in comparison. Why is it so?

“Whenever you are born in Spirit, you are indeed ‘reborn’, as it is a mighty conversion experience that turns your world upside down and inside out—literally. Indeed, a spiritual rebirth has all to do with the higher values it invites into your life. It gives you a taste of them and leads you to wish to incorporate them into your life’s pursuits, as they shed a new and brighter light on how you view what happens to you.

“Once born from the Spirit, your spiritual DNA gets activated, so to speak, and, as you grow up spiritually, you increasingly display the spiritual and emotional Godlike family resemblance by which you can be identified—no need for a secret handshake there.

“Human lives are driven by a variety of ‘motivators’—or stagnate due to the lack thereof for those who lack personal drive. There is definitely a ‘before’ and an ‘after’ epoch in the life of those who experience such a spiritual birth. They come to understand that adversity is actually on their side, as it promotes their growth and their understanding of what truly matters in a life well lived—that which is of everlasting import.

“Which ‘valuables’ remain when your material possessions are taken away from you? This is actually the revolving door that gets you in touch with your spiritual side, as you do have to figure a positive and gracious exit from these trying circumstances. It is when you realize that your hard-acquired spiritual treasures are untouchable—no matter how severe your material bankruptcy may be.

“You also come to accept that what has been taken away from you is not leading you to a dead-end, but to the starting gate of a much brighter future, as your life has been stripped from its shortsightedness and you have acquired a far-reaching perspective that includes your eternal future.

“Rather than hostinga pity-party for your losses, you start counting the blessings that they brought into your life. This is the reason why a constant attitude of gratitude is the key to such an upgrading transformation. The Father is constantly working toward the unfoldment of your life’s plan. “Thank you, God, for the good that will come out of it” is the most efficient leitmotiv that extirpates you from the victim mentality and its associated complaining mode. Indeed, a thank-you works wonders, as it takes you from a state of inner resistance and resentment to one of acceptance and allowing—allowing the blessings to fill the vacuum left by what was taken away from you.”
