ABOUT MISCHIEVIOUS EGOS

“There can be no lasting religious peace on [Earth] until all religious groups freely surrender all their notion of divine favor, chosen people, and religious sovereignty. Only when God the Father becomes supreme will men become religious brothers and live together in religious peace on earth.” [UB 134:4:10]

Thought Adjuster: “While on Earth, Jesus taught to a vastly diversified cross-section of humanity—those that chanced to cross his path. He never missed an opportunity to plant seeds of understanding in their hearts and minds, thus setting in motion a year-around and age-around spiritual harvest.

He always adjusted the delivery of his teachings to the intellectual abilities of his auditors. However, the message remained the same: Placing God’s sovereignty first will become the common link between his creatures—as it should rightfully be.

Isn’t it amazing that both scholars and ordinary folk dissent as to the basic definition of religion? The word ‘religion’ originates from the Latin word ‘ligare’—to join, classically understood to mean linking the human and divine.

Isn’t it evidence enough that the collective ego of each religious affiliation needs to humble itself before God? The many dysfunctions exhibited by society at large stem from the stubbornness and superiority complexes of immature egos. Instead of acknowledging their ego's frailty, many are fooled by the larger than life shadow it projects when placed under artificial lighting.

Disproportionate egos spread mischief. The groundwork toward unity among men should be tackled at the cellular level of the individual ego that needs to shift its focus from self-centeredness to God-centeredness—thus acquiring an enlightened perspective and reliable guidance.

Such an inner shift will revamp your attitude toward others, as it will make you tolerant of diversity—a milestone toward the emergence of a sustainable brotherhood of man.

When he set foot on the lunar surface, the American astronaut Neil Armstrong famously declared, “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” What a quantum leap toward world unification it would be—both for man and humankind—to humbly surrender to one another, waving the white flag of peace—the Divine Flagship to which all should pledge full allegiance.”
