ABOUT THE TUG-OF-WAR
“Man could never lay saving hold on righteousness if there were no potential evil to exalt and differentiate the good by contrast.” [UB 51:12]
Teacher: “You asked us to expand on the above quote that is well worth pondering. The word we would like to stress is the word ‘potential.’ It is not necessary for evil to be manifested, as it is not part of the Father’s Vision for His Super Universe. Yet, the mere potentiality of evil is what validates the fact that you are free-will creatures. You are the decision makers, shaping your own destiny, one decision at a time.
“You are called daily to make a multitude of decisions. You make some of them instinctively in order to sustain your life, while others are moral decisions that determine the pace of your soul-growth.
“Sadly, due to the misguided free-will decisions of Lucifer and his converts, evil was birthed on your world as a reality, and its manifestations are still unfolding to this day. Therefore, your moral choices are an integral part of your life’s journey—rather than mere potentialities. You are an active participant in the tug-of-war between the teams rooting for either good or evil.
“From this perspective, you are blessed exponentially whenever you make the ‘right’ decisions, those that promote Goodness. Because of the strong duality that exist on your world, you have to take sides, once you recognize the magnitude of what is playing out. The ‘wars in heaven’ were so intense that they also spread on earth, giving you the privilege to enlist willingly in the divine Forces of Light, rather than following blindly the forces of darkness.
“Dear ones, rather than complaining about the challenging state of affairs on your planet, consider it as a magnificent hands-on opportunity to develop your personal sense of righteousness. You are being thoroughly tested during your planetary lifetime. If you pass these tests with flying colors, you will indeed bypass many of the remedial classes that are lovingly provided to those souls who did not earn a passing grade.”
