TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR EMOTIONAL STATE

“Happiness and joy take origin in the inner life. You cannot experience real joy all by yourself. A solitary life is fatal to happiness. Even families and nations will enjoy life more if they share it with others.” [UB, 111:4.7]

Thought Adjuster:“Because of its unalienable nature, your free-will co-creative prerogative puts you ultimately in charge of your happiness. Even though others’ misguided free will decisions adversely impact the quality of your life, it serves you well not to wallow in self-pity. Many of them were born with severe handicaps; others acquired them later in life—accidentally or through addictive behaviors. In both cases, they have to face their challenges, as blame and denial are the worst advisers.

“It is forever true: The past is unchangeable; only the future can be changed by the ministry of the present creativity of the inner self.” [UB, 111:4.12]
