THE REFRESHING SPLASHES OF TRUTH
Thought Adjuster: “The ever-progressive revelation of Truth—from the cosmic to the individual level, can be compared to the painstaking peeling of the external layers of an onion to finally reveal its core.
“Just as the peeling of an onion stimulates your tear ducts, the gradual removal of the artificial protective layers of self-deception often leads to the shedding of tears—tears of regret blending together with tears of relief and gratitude.
“Indeed, such is the process of incremental truth revelation that you are called to witness for yourself at the personal level of your being. The wool has to be pulled off your eyes. “First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Such a ‘plank removal’ had to be performed gradually with qualified ‘surgical assistance’, as the meting out of too brutal honesty could put you in a state of shock, from which you would have to recover.
“The Father establishes a wise treatment plan to gradually excise the flaws from your character. He grants you merciful periods of respite before He schedules the next intervention, as you need sufficient time to heal emotionally.
“Dear ones, your quest for truth has to start from within. You need to get in touch with the core truth of your being, as it will dispel the emotional parasites of guilt, shame, and fear that are keeping you in a state of ‘unease’. After shedding these contaminated layers, just as you wash the mud particles off a vegetable before you can benefit from its precious nutrients, you will get to witness your amazing metamorphosis from a fearful creature to an empowered one. Indeed, the truth will sever your attachments to anything that holds you back—especially your self-deception—the tainted idea that you have acquired about yourself and that affects the way you view others. The happy dance of your self-liberation will splash on others as well and refresh their truth-thirsty souls. Such is the wonderful ripple effect of Truth.”
