“So few mortals are real thinkers; you do not spiritually develop and discipline your minds to the point of favorable liaison with the divine Adjusters… The Adjuster finds it almost impossible to register these inspiring spirit leadings in an animal mind so completely dominated by the chemical and electrical forces inherent in your physical natures.” [UB, 110:7.6]

Thought Adjuster: “It is very difficult for your Divine Fragment to guide you when you do not put to optimal use the very real organ of your thinking. You were gifted with independence of thinking, and the organ of your thoughts—your mind—is here to help you process all types of data, just like your computer is equipped with a processor.

The philosopher Descartes declared, “I think, therefore I am.” Animals are not able to make such statements, and your ability to think is the great divide between you and them. Yet, on your planet, many human beings do not hone their thinking skills. Many embrace the ‘hand-me-down’ belief systems of their elders without questioning them, thus preventing outdated understandings from being discarded and replaced by newly uncovered truths.

Many are those among you who rely on others to do their thinking, thus surrendering to them your God-given privilege of self-sovereignty, due to the mere fact that they express their views with confidence and authority. You fail to conduct a much-needed background check as to their actual qualifications.

Indeed, your thinking is the key to your personal development. I reside in your mind. Unfortunately, I am frequently held hostage in a closed mind, which undermines the purpose of My Indwelling. Open your mind so that the flow of communication can be initiated between us. Ask to receive. Your human experience will be greatly upgraded by allowing Me to spiritualize your being. I will help you disengage your mind from its mundane preoccupations and its obsessive thinking process that can be compared to the repetitive mode of a broken record. I will place your mind on more interesting thinking tracks, and you will come to joyfully experience a more thrilling quality of life.

Become aware of any generic thinking and clichés. Sort through them and discard whatever does not serve your spiritual evolution, as you would discard outdated books sitting on the shelves of your library and only gathering dust. Your thinking has been meant to be vibrant and inquisitive. This will greatly contribute to spicing up your life. Each one of you can pioneer higher truths through their own mental exploratory process.”
