HOW HIGH DO YOU SCORE IN YOUR FAITH TESTS?
“The measure of the spiritual capacity of the evolving soul is your faith in truth and your love for man, but the measure of your human strength of character is your ability to resist the holding of grudges and your capacity to withstand brooding in the face of deep sorrow.” [UB 156:5]
Thought Adjuster: “The above statement distinguishes between the spiritual capacity of the evolving soul and the human strength of character. Your soul evolves toward Godlikeness and, so doing, you develop great strength of character—and vice versa.
“God, the Epitome of Love and Truth, is both your Source and Destination. It is the reason why your ascending journey has to be facilitated by your “faith in truth” and “your love for man.” Can you maintain a positive outlook when faced with iniquity and experiencing pain and suffering, which is indeed a great ‘faith test’?
“Why should the immaturity displayed by your fellow men cause you to doubt in the Father’s perfection? The Father loves you in your infancy and imperfection, as He looks at you from the perspective of your eternal destiny where the beautiful ‘you’ will increasingly supplant the ‘not so beautiful’ part of who you are now.
“By learning to love your planetary siblings, you are looking at then from a heightened perspective—more in alignment with God’s way. Such divine love is unconditional and, therefore, immune to the holding of grudges. The Father does not come down on you with harsh and impatient judgments but, yours willing provides you with His feedback of ‘positive criticism,’ intended to help you ‘grow up’ in your divinity, as well as improve your quality of life—at the personal and societal levels.
“Dear ones, just as the Father places much more weigh on the positives than on the negatives, learn to focus on the potentially positive outcomes of any given situation. It will greatly help you in growing in ‘faith and truth’ and, so doing, you will automatically develop fortitude of character.”
