JESUS' TESTED RECIPE FOR MIRACLES
“How long ere you learn that the works of faith come not forth at the bidding of doubting unbelief?... Question not my Father’s power of love, only the sincerity and reach of your faith. All things are possible to him who really believes.” [UB Paper158, section 5]
Thought Adjuster: “The above statement by Jesus is well worth pondering. Indeed, Faith is not a mere concept. It is a power! During His earthly life, Jesus was frequently heard reprimanding His fellowmen by saying “You of little faith!”. He stressed over and over the necessity of exhibiting a ‘living’ faith in order to manifest its ‘miraculous’ outcomes.
"If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.” [Luke 17: 6]
“By examining the many ‘miraculous’ healings performed by Jesus during His bestowal in human form, you will come to recognize that they were all rooted in Faith and Love. Jesus spontaneously helped His fellowmen whenever He was deeply moved in His heart. He could not help it. The pure love and deep empathy He felt toward them frequently took over, leading Him to heal His afflicted companions, even though He well knew that not all of them would turn out to be of lastingspiritual import.
“The second prerequisite was an expression of genuine faith on the part of those soliciting healing, especially if they were selflessly interceding for the wellbeing of others—as Jesus always did. Indeed, altruism is also a great catalyst for answered prayers.
“From this closer examination, it is very obvious that faith holds a great power of manifestation. Your trust in invisible divine powers has to be ‘burning hot’—not just lukewarm. Coupled with a loving intention, it will have what it takes to yield its positive manifestation.
“Dear ones, faith is the antidote to doubt. While doubt makes you weak in the knees, faith picks you up and makes you stand up straight. Whenever you are caught in trying situations, remember that faith is on your side, while doubt works against you. No matter what befell Him, Jesus always remained ‘faith-full’ and this is the reason why He turned His death into a celebration of eternal life. As well, by blessing you with the spiritual presences of His Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit and your very own Father Fragment, He did not leave you behind as helpless orphans—the greatest miracle of all.”
